In response to your #2....I have been doing a lot of research lately on plastic bottles and have found that the #1 bottles (recycling # on bottom of bottle) are designed for one use only. If you refill them they supposedly leach chemicals into the water....and who wants to drink plastic...not me. Doesn't sound like you do either. Anyway, check these out:

I just found these and bought one. I just hope you can get them through airport security! I suppose you'd have to travel with it empty through security, then fill it....</description>
