Last week I decided it was time to do something better for myself and the environment.  I have a strong hope that it is possible to go green (or at least greener) without having to make much of a sacrifice.  This was reaffirmed after I told my husband I was going to do this and received a very grumbled look.  I believe it is just going to require some research and education.  This hope extends to the average Joe out there too, meaning that if more consumers were educated on the products they buy and the habits they have, they too can make greener decisions and know that they don’t have to give up much.

So this blog is going to cover what I’m doing to try to live greener.  This will include the research I’ve done, decisions I’ve made, and how it works or doesn’t work for me.  I hope this will inspire you to make better, more educated decisions about how you can contribute to making this world a better place to be.
